I travel a lot during the year. Whether it’s Moscow, Japan or anything in between, I have a few essential clothing pieces that I take with me regardless of the season or place.
1) A pair of skinny or boyfriend jeans (depending on the season). During the summer I like to wear a pair of loose jeans because they can be dressed up or down depending on which shoes you pair them with. Skinny jeans, however, are best worn with boots or oxford shoes, so they are my go to style during the colder months. I prefer Seven Jeans, and AG jeans to any other brand because of their flattering yet non-traditional-cut jeans.
2) Statement sunglasses are next on my list. I wear sunglasses year round and like to pack at least one pair that is versatile yet can also be a stand-out piece. I love Oliver Peoples for a simpler look and Chanel or Tom Ford for a bolder accent. Sunglasses are an accessory that often gets overlooked but they can turn an outfit from simple to stylish in seconds.
3) Next, a cross body bag that can be dressed up or down is probably the most important travel necessity. I like to fly with a tote but always bring a bag that can be worn during the day and night. I find Chanel and Hermes to have the most versatile designs however my new favorite bag is from the new Chloe collection. It’s detailed without being overdone and is a deep blue color that looks great with black, brown, and vibrant colors.
4) Lastly, pair of simple T-strap or pointed toe heels are an absolute must in my suitcase. Much like the other items on the list, a simple heel can transform an outfit almost immediately. I usually go with a nude or black heel because it inevitably goes with any outfit.
I can’t leave my house without knowing that I packed these four items. Do you have certain travel necessities that you can’t live without? Let me know in the comments section!
