Traveling With Friends

It is said that a journey is measured in friends, rather than miles. However, I am lucky enough to travel with my friends and experience new cultures and landmarks with them by my side. Being in Paris for fashion week is always thrilling and it was even more fun with my friends there. I went to an array of different restaurants, museums, and shows (I’ve actually seen more beautiful clothes in the past week than I have in the past year). New York is said it be the fashion capital of the world, yet the fashion in Paris is mesmerizing. The landscape of each of the shows heightens the beauty of the clothes. However, the Chanel show was unlike any other. Karl Lagerfield has had is show in the Grand Palais for the past several seasons, but this was unlike the others. When my friends and I entered the venue we couldn’t believe our eyes: 30-ft high waterfalls were all around the stage and the models would each walk out of caves that were stemming from the waterfalls. The show was a true spectacle. I looked over at my friends and when I saw them enjoying the show as much as I was, my experience was even greater. Great friends and high fashion mixed together is beyond the enjoyment of fashion week. When I get back to New York I’m as excited to walk down the streets of New York with my friends as I was in Paris; however, the one thing I’ll miss the most is the macaroons. Fashion is a passion of mine, however friends are indispensable and I am so lucky to have them.

Clothing Travel essentials

I travel a lot during the year. Whether it’s Moscow, Japan or anything in between, I have a few essential clothing pieces that I take with me regardless of the season or place.
1) A pair of skinny or boyfriend jeans (depending on the season). During the summer I like to wear a pair of loose jeans because they can be dressed up or down depending on which shoes you pair them with. Skinny jeans, however, are best worn with boots or oxford shoes, so they are my go to style during the colder months. I prefer Seven Jeans, and AG jeans to any other brand because of their flattering yet non-traditional-cut jeans.
2) Statement sunglasses are next on my list. I wear sunglasses year round and like to pack at least one pair that is versatile yet can also be a stand-out piece. I love Oliver Peoples for a simpler look and Chanel or Tom Ford for a bolder accent. Sunglasses are an accessory that often gets overlooked but they can turn an outfit from simple to stylish in seconds.
3) Next, a cross body bag that can be dressed up or down is probably the most important travel necessity. I like to fly with a tote but always bring a bag that can be worn during the day and night. I find Chanel and Hermes to have the most versatile designs however my new favorite bag is from the new Chloe collection. It’s detailed without being overdone and is a deep blue color that looks great with black, brown, and vibrant colors.
4) Lastly, pair of simple T-strap or pointed toe heels are an absolute must in my suitcase. Much like the other items on the list, a simple heel can transform an outfit almost immediately. I usually go with a nude or black heel because it inevitably goes with any outfit.

I can’t leave my house without knowing that I packed these four items. Do you have certain travel necessities that you can’t live without? Let me know in the comments section!

are you coming or not…

There was a period of time in your life when every night out seemed to end at 4 a.m. no matter what. It wasn’t seen as being a big deal either. Like, duh, of course you’re not going to go home till the bars close. Is there an alternative? Also, you had endless amounts of energy. You were never tired and even if you were, you could always power through it. You never surrendered to fatigue, are you kidding?

Of Course … we need some days of good sleep as you seriously start to worry about your looks. When a friend asks you why you can’t come to an all-night rager, you simply send them a picture of Lindsay Lohan circa today and write, “Because I don’t want this to happen to me.”

Part of the reason why you went out so much and partied was because you suffered from Fear Of Missing Out or, as some people like to call it, F.O.M.O. As you get older, however, you realize that nothing good can happen after 2 a.m. sure it can be some exceptions like your boyfriend party or bbf… but the next day you have hangovers that are sort of unreal. It didn’t used to be this bad but now whenever you have four or five drinks, you can pretty much guarantee that the next day is going to be entirely deleted. It used to be fun spending your entire day in bed hungover watching Netflix and ordering Seamless but now it’s just depressing. To feel better, you’ll sit in the shower for an inordinate amount of time and let the water wash over you, feeling like a total screw up. It’s a steep price to pay for one night of so-called fun.

Now its a season for the parties before Christmas and New Year but to some invitations we have to respond NO… as we have to think about health first or… being in New York for a while you learn how to attend few parties at the same night .

Put heels on baby , and just move on…just pass by for few minutes at each invitation so you wake up fresh next morning and not with a fear of Missing out)))

And Always use this tips to wake up looking Gorgeous:

The importance of a good night’s sleep isn’t lost on any of us. Besides keeping the mind healthy, it also plays a huge role in making sure you’re looking your very best. And while a solid eight hours of beauty rest can go a long way, why not put those hours spent in bed to good use and get even more gorgeous overnight? These beauty and hair tips work while you sleep, so you just need to lay your pretty head down and wake up looking like new!

1. Wash Your Face: The best of beauty products won’t make a difference if you don’t start with a clean slate, so always wash your face before going to bed. Keep a stash of cleansing wipes in your bedside table for a quick fix on those exhausting late nights.

2. Night Cream : Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! After washing your face clean of all impurities, the next best thing you can do for your skin is apply a hydrating night cream.

3. Honey and Cinnamon Spot Treatment: Get rid of acne without any harsh chemicals. Honey and cinnamon are natural remedies for killing bacteria, zapping away zits as you sleep.

4. Aloe Vera: In addition to soothing a nasty sunburn, aloe vera is also another great natural remedy for curing acne. Use aloe vera gel as a spot treatment or as an overnight moisturizer that keeps skin soft but not greasy.

5. Cold Eye Cream: You may already be applying your eye cream religiously, but did you know it works better when it’s cold? Keep your eye cream in the refrigerator and apply before going to bed to decrease morning puffiness.

6. Lip Scrub: Wake up with soft, kissable lips by applying a lip scrub before heading to bed. After rinsing it off, apply a lip balm that will moisturize your exfoliated lips while you sleep.

7. Bliss Softening Socks ($52): These socks feature a gel lining that soothes and softens with olive oil, grapeseed oil and vitamin E. Lather on some foot cream before going to bed and pop on a pair of these to wake up with baby-soft feet.

8. Virgin Coconut Oil: Coconut oil has a multitude of health benefits, and the effect it has on your skin is one. Apply to lips before going bed for a soft and sweet smelling pucker, or use as foot and hand cream to wake up with nourished skin.

9. Castor Oil for Eyelashes: We all want thick, fluttery eyelashes, but fake lashes and even excessive mascara can wreak havoc on our natural ones. Use a Q-tip to apply castor oil onto your lashes every night to keep them healthy and even make them grow a little longer.

10. Brighten Stained Teeth: Here’s a super easy DIY for the perfect set of pearly whites: After brushing your teeth at night, dip your toothbrush in baking soda and brush again. You normally need to wait an hour after doing this to eat or drink anything, making it perfect for a nightime treatment. Make sure to do this only once a week to prevent damaging your teeth.

11. Moisturize Chronic All-Over Dry Skin : If you have dry skin, the humidifier is about to become your new best friend. It releases moisture into the air (which is especially needed during dry winter months) to keep your skin plump and prevent dehydration.

12. Coconut and Honey Hair Mask: Combine two miracle ingredients to make this luscious hair mask. Apply before hitting the hay and wake up to silky, healthy strands. Just make sure to put a towel on your pillow case so you don’t leave a mess behind.

13. Sleep on Silk Pillowcases : Silk pillows help fight the frizz and keep your curls looking smooth soft. The silky fabric also prevents those pesky sleep lines you get on your face from cotton pillows (which can later lead to wrinkles… yikes!).

14. Aromatherapy Pillow Mist : Lack of sleep and stress are some of the worst offenders when it comes to dull skin and hair. Tackle both by spraying some calming mist onto your pillow to wake up feeling and looking refreshed. It also leaves your bed smelling great!

once you follow the beauty tips and have a good sleep …Party as much as you want as we live only ONCE!!!

Côte d’Azur ST TROPEZ night Life

In St. Tropez, at the heart of the French Riviera, the sun really does shine brighter and the Mediterranean is truly bluer. Or maybe that’s just the effect of the chilled rosé going to your head when you visit St. Tropez. If long leisurely lunches and days spent poolside interrupted only by shopping for Provencal handicrafts are what led you to St. Tropez travel, the historic charms of this seaside town will be a bonus.

Nestled along the French Riveria and a short drive from Nice or Cannes, St. Tropez is one of the liveliest towns along the coast during the summer. Vacationers delight in the sandy beaches, culture, gourmet food and hot nightlife of St. Tropez. The wealthy Plage Port Grimaud is the best beach to see and to be seen lounging in a Burberry bikini. Plage de Tahiti is notorious for its “unspoken” clothing-optional policy and risque atmosphere.

The best beaches for families can be found at Plage de la Bouillabaisse, Plage des Graniers and Plage des Jumeaux, which also offer beachside playgrounds. Plage de Pampellone is 3 miles of beautiful beaches, bars and places to stop for snacks.

Not a beach person? Lunch like the French in a cozy cafe overlooking the harbor and take in the people and the ritzy yachts in the harbor. Prowl around the open-air markets for hidden antique treasures, break out the credit cards for shopping at the upscale boutiques, or curb your spending and settle on a quality bottle of olive oil or wine from Provence.

Partying like a celeb at Les Caves du Roy, the hottest nightclub in town, inside the hottest hotel in town, the Byblos where you can have a pizza at 7am and only than going to sleep (Tip: Be sure to dress the part!)

Soaking up the glamorous scene and celeb-spotting on popular Nikki Beach.
Perusing a collection of some 4,500 rare and endangered species of butterflies at La Maison des Papillons.

Getting There
Visitors traveling on private or business airplanes can land just miles from St. Tropez at Saint-Tropez Air Developpement. Other guests may choose to fly into the airports at Nice or Toulon-Hyeres. Those hoping to take a train to St. Tropez from another destination may find a train into Gare des Arcs or Gare de Saint-Raphael.

Shopping is amazing there each boutique and cafe is a pleasure to see …

If you want to travel to St. Tropez when it is its most glamorous and buzzing, then go in July or August. You’ll find, however, that hoteliers are well aware how coveted their rooms are then, and you’ll pay dearly to stay. The weather is still good in May, June, and September. Off-season St. Tropez can be charming, even if you can’t expect beach weather.

Provenciale cuisine has gained recognition outside of this region as Mediterranean food is celebrated from chic restaurants in New York to hidden gems in the middle of America. For a true Provenciale treat, try the dish that have made this cuisine famous: boullaibaise accompanied by a fine glass of burgundy or bourdeaux from a local vineyard. Foodies shouldn’t leave town before indulging in dinner at gourmand Alain Ducasse’s noted restaurant Spoon Byblos at the Hotel Byblos. Les Mouscardins is another well-known local restaurant serving up classic Proveciale cuisine in a glamorous setting, while Chez Maggi is a favorite with the locals.

too cool for school

Since girls are getting older they are stuck between two wanting’s. That would be I wish to be a little kid again or always stay in twenties. When my parents were drilling it into my head that this time, high school, is the best time of our lives. Just now I can see why this is true, we don’t have many responsibilities we’re not adults, but were not babies, we’re just stuck in-between. This may lead us to not feeling that we fit in anywhere, other than with the crazy teenage kids that we don’t always like. We then start dreaming of how much better it may be to just be little kids again, or to be young adults, mid-twenties. As I think things like this I take a step back and look back to elementary school. When I desired to be a teenager, hanging out with friends at the football games and driving friends around, not dependent on a parent I thought how cool that’d be. Now I’ve gotten to that age, I’ve realized being able to drive isn’t all that, and now we long to be in our after twenties, so our parents can’t tell us when to be home, or always questioning us. We’re never just satisfied with the time we’re at in our lives; we always look at something as being better. As humans we, “want what we can’t; don’t have,” that’s just life. Love the time you’re in, quit longing for an older age that someday you’ll experience. Once you make it there, you’ll most likely want to go back to the younger ages, these are the best times our of lives.
Living in the moment means letting go of the past and trusting in the future. When we are positive and optimistic in the present, we open the possibility of a positive and promising future. We owe it to ourselves to make every moment count – now!
Enjoy your weekend girls and thank you for reading me

really don’t need a car in manhattan

When I first moved to Manhattan , I bought a car. After a week),  I learned that it was a mistake…. so hard to find a spot to park, traffic, speed limit and as there is no parking in my building ,I had to walk 2 blocks and pay 700$ a month . And then, there are the insurance costs and traffic congestion.

Manhattan is not a car-friendly place. In fact, in a lot of places it is hard to get around without the car like Long Island, Hampton’s, but Manhattan no. You don’t need a car in Manhattan, and a car is usually not worth the expense and the headache.

There are plenty of taxis and car service which cost me much less than having my car!

I love walking and feel the vibe of New York, the only negative factor we had lately the weather . Snow storm, wind, cold …the weather is really harsh and the streets slippery. Now its all behind and we can open a new season of spring and be always on the move! As we all know the benefits of the extra steps we make  for our health. Make walking part of your daily life. Walk to bring  kids, work, store, … no need a special equipment to walk and since you don’t need to push yourself enough to sweat, you don’t need a special clothing as well! I feel great now even to walk with a heels on)))

The last week before Christmas… Every girl wants to walk out and feel her best. It gives us more confidence at work and how we communicate with people.  Above is a look  to inspire and give you ideas). I know so many girls don’t have time to change before a corporate party, a nice accessory makes all the difference and will complete your look for a night out, which you can just drop to your work bag. Here is a mango dress that I know you will feel amazing in, and you have so many options in terms of color and cut.

My coat is Christian Dior, but as usual I always choose an alternative for you that is similar to the designers. We all know now is the time of sales so its time to shop))))

Holiday Trunk Show

Christmas is my favorite time of the year!

And right now is the time for presents! The most important act is don’t panic, there are tons of gift ideas and suggestions. The best thing to do is create a list of “who needs presents”. Every day add a new present to your list. Then you will not get stuck looking for last minute gifts. Today was the opening ceremony after construction of St. Patrick’s  Cathedral on 5th ave, which opened in 1879. Every year more that 5 million visitors come to pray and light candles. After that special morning I decided to walk to the Trunk show of Mondrina. Monica Frisbie is the handbag designer. On the way there I got my espresso at NYC Palace Hotel, I can’t stop looking at the stunning Christmas tree! The fashion trunk show at Bloomingdales is only for three days, until December 14. You can find great pieces. I bought a designer bag by the brand Mondrina. One of the gifts from my list is done!

Here are the pictures from my day with Mondrina who creates beautiful, functional and socially responsible handbags combining luxe leathers and exotic skin with ancient textile and beading traditions from Peru that have been passed down through several generations. Each bag is a little treasure preserving  a story that you will enjoy on many adventures.

So, guys, you can find similar things for your outfit here. Welcome as always) xoxo
