Lifestyle in Hamptons is very different compare to Europe (St. Troppez, Ibiza, Sardinia, Monaco, Corsica) I would say its a good mix of everything. For me the Hamptons has always been about relaxing weekend with friends and kids as during the week we have to be back in the city during the month of June . July and August people go to Hamptons for vacation.
When people need a change of scenery from the hustle and bustle of daily city life, there is no greater place to be then in the Hamptons. Located on the south fork of Long Island, it remains the most prestigious year round seaside resort area in the world. It was first developed in the early 1500’s, and has long been the home of America’s most highly distinguished families including the Kennedys, the Rockefellers, the Duponts and some of the most creative geniuses of our lifetime, as well as successful worldwide power brokers. Throughout the years, there has continued to be a multitude of legendary parties and charitable gala events that have taken place in the Hamptons, attended by the likes of Ernest Hemingway, Jackson Pollack, former President Bill Clinton, Steven Speilberg, Bob Fosse, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Madonna and Barbra Streisand. Some people choose to spend their time relaxing and entertaining at their secluded estates with their own private beaches or at their own personal retreats. The Hamptons also offers their residents fine dining choices, a vast array of cultural entertainment, exclusive shopping venues, exercise and wellness salons such as Gurney’s Inn, equestrian events, private golf courses that have hosted the U.S. Open, exclusive tennis and country clubs, and private yacht clubs whose marinas dock some of the world’s most magnificent sailboats and power boats. There are few things that can compare to wine tasting at the many vineyards where entertainment is often present in the afternoon, during a breathtaking sunset or under a star filled sky. Many people also participate in the annual Bridgehampton Polo Classic. Yet nothing can surpass the sheer beauty of the Hamptons, and the feeling of being one with nature, during the changing of the leaves in autumn or when one hears the roar of the sea.
