Brunch is basically synonymous with New York City. It seems like every street corner is lined with Eggs Benedict and Challah French Toast. However, my favorite brunch spot is right across the street from my house. Amaranth Restaurant is the perfect blend of American, Italian, and French cuisine. After I finish running all my errands and take a quick shower post soul cycle, I like to cool down and have a nice glass of champagne. A chilled glass of bubbly is best paired with their organic scrambled eggs and tousled greens.
The outside area of the restaurant is my absolute favorite at any time of the day, but especially in the morning. Thankfully, summer is in the air so I like to sit outside in a pair of jean cut-offs and a loose sweater. My go-to outfit would be a pair of grey sneakers and a light cashmere or linen throw. While the rest of my outfit is in a simple monochromatic pallet I like to brighten up my look with a bright red mani. A classic red manicure has been a staple of beauty from Audrey Hepburn to Marilyn Monroe, and it is something that can bring any outfit together. To enhance the vibrant color of the nail polish I would suggest adding a watch. A simple silver or gold timepiece will draw attention to your hands while not distracting from the rest of your outfit.

As the weather is getting warmer make sure to take advantage of the outside patios of your favorite restaurants. And remember, it is never too early for a glass of champagne 😉
