Spring/Summer 2020 trends
Dear Reader,
Today in the “question-answer” format I will answer your questions about Paris Fashion Week (September 23 to October, 1st 2019) that is organized shortly after the London Fashion week. However, unlike progressive London that made its entry public, PFW still remains private. As usual, historical places such as the Carrousel du Louvre and the Grand Palais saw famous brands like Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Ralf Russo, Vacheron Constantin, Ellie Saab and many more. The mix of haute couture shows with ready-to-wear catwalks continued the Fashion Week focus on environmental issues for the Spring/Summer 2020 season. Top designers set the message of “Buy Less” premise, highlighting their collection’s commitment to enduring design and lasting quality, and turning away from short-term trends. Vintage and nostalgia themes harked back to simpler times, exploring the playfulness of youth and the pleasurable pastimes of the house’s past masters.
Q: Which shows have you personally attended and what is your favorite and why?
A: This time I have been at well-known Chanel, Givenchy, Ralf Russo, Ellie Saab, and Boucheron’s new high jewelry collection presentation. I definitely will nominate the first place to my favorite CHANEL, who presented absolutely astonishing, wearable, smart cloth for everyday and special solution mix sets. Ellie Saab impressed with its magnificent dresses that I felt like buying right away (see the photos below). Ralf Russo surprised by its bright colors and an amazing bag collection and you should be definitely having one in your Spring/Summer 2020 collection. The manager of Boucheron Paris guided and explained the viewpoints, perspectives, and heights of their new collection and we have visited it is magnifique shop that has been for a long time under construction and is finally live.
Q: Where do you usually stay in Paris, which hotel would you recommend?
A: Oh, as you know I love luxury and comfort that why the majority of the time I stay at Four Seasons Hotels. The mission of FSH is to treat others like you want to be treated and it is pretty much about me. Having over 10 years of positive relationships, I am happy to spend my time with friends and family at their properties around the world and here I feel like at home. The second option can be La Reserve Hotel, which is also a pleasure to stay at.
Q: What are the places that you can recommend to visit in Paris?
A: From the new places that have been recently opened, I would highly suggest trying amazing restaurant “CoCo”, wide choice of haute cuisine dishes, excellent service and most importantly breathable space in comparison with Avenue or/and Costes.
Paris has a lot to offer for everyone and I would highly suggest coming here to receive the feel of Haute couture, Haute cuisine, and Haute amour. We are all a little bit French, j’aime paris, j’aime Vous!
