As the season slowly transitions from spring to summer, new cultural events role around the corner. This week, one of my favorite art shows: Frieze New York is happening. However, with this unpredictable weather it is becoming more and more difficult to figure out what to wear. But, no worries! This outfit idea is the perfect base to any art show outing.
The white skirt and shirt provide a hint of summer, while my purple Fendi jacket and violet Hermes cuff give the outfit a necessary pop of color. I choose to pair this particular look with my silver Golden Goose sneakers, because while it works perfectly with white, it also highlights on the metallic hardware of the cuff. Golden Goose sneakers are one of my favorite sneaker brands because the more worn out they look, the more authentic the design becomes. I’m never afraid to wear them in the rain because I know they only look better with time!
Although the days may be grey, one sure way to brighten up the streets is to wear a pop of color. My go-to hue is purple—what’s yours?
