The 2021 Monaco Red Cross Summer Concert took place at Monte-Carlo’s Place du Casino. From royals to celebrities, many attended the event. Ready for more?
The Red Cross and Red Crescent Organization has helped thousands, if not millions, around the globe through volunteer work. The humanitarian movement Monaco Red Cross holds a summer concert each year to raise funds and spread awareness regarding the organization’s manifesto. Last year, the movement was able to gather a total of 530 individuals who dedicated 57,000 hours to volunteer work during the global pandemic. Later on, we saw the Red Cross take over as one of the first respondents when Storm Alex severely affected the valleys and neighborhoods of Monaco.
The Concert
The event took place on the 16th of July, 2021 at Place du Casino. The casino held its first-ever public gathering since its inauguration. The new Place du Casino is dotted with gorgeous palm trees and beautiful fountains. In addition to this, the casino’s architecture is nothing short of grand. At night, the beautiful lights at the casino make for a scenic view. English jazz-pop singer-songwriter Jamie Cullum took over the stage for this year’s summer concert. The British musician is known for influencing contemporary popular music through his jazz compositions. The singer has eight albums to his name and several contributions to the original soundtrack of films. Needless to say, despite his busy schedule, Jamie Callum found the time to help the Monaco Red Cross in commencing the fundraising summer concert. The organization’s president, Prince Albert II was also in attendance.
A Long-Standing History
The Red Cross of Monaco was founded on March 3rd, 1948, and since then the organization has provided aid for thousands of lives in times of crisis through donations and volunteer work. It is recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross. These fundraising concerts have helped the movement of the Red Cross for several years. The prices of the tickets vary depending on what you want to attend. The price of the cocktail party and the concert is higher than the price of the concert. However, flocks of crowds attend this event and make generous donations.

I felt honored to attend the Monaco Red Cross Summer Concert held on July 16th, 2021. The organization of the 72nd Monegasque Red Cross Gala has long maintained a strong line of donors, volunteers, and partners. The concert as well as the guest list was nothing short of outstanding.
