We are close to the end of the year and the magical Christmas time full of presents and miracles! The end of November 2019 has been also saturated with this mood in the fashion world. An excellent example of this is the cooperation between the supermodel Naomi Campbell and Westfield Group. As a result “Fashion for Relief “was born with the slogan – “Together We Unite As a Force for Good”. It was founded by Naomi in 2005 and since then “Fashion For Relief” (FFR) has raised millions for disaster relief and humanitarian causes around the world. The focus of this year’s FFR fundraiser is on education and employability programs, including the Mayor’s Fund for London.
The Atrium in Westfield, London on Tuesday evening, November 26th with Naomi Campbell has been truly exclusive. The pre-launch party of the “Fashion For Relief” pop-up store (27th of November – 8th of December) evening was filled with high fashion, tasty cocktails, a great amount of shopping and fun. The dessert was served in the form of original designer finds and unique celebrity donations.
This year Naomi’s’ Campbell motive of launching her elite “Fashion For Relief” charity pop-up store ahead of the festive season was to raise funds for education and employability programs for young people.
The designer pop-up consists of bespoke and limited-edition pieces donated by the global fashion brands, Naomi’s celebrity friends, as well as items from her own wardrobe. Bits and pieces on sale include Alexander McQueen t-shirts, CHROME HEARTS Fashion For Relief silk scarves, as well as pieces by Gucci, Vivienne Westwood and much more. I have also donated some of my exclusive wear.
In addition, throughout the week Naomi Campbell will be taking place at the pop-up activities herself. This is for increasing the quality of shopping experience by selecting the best fashion pieces, including presentations from up and coming designers. You can still contribute and experience it by yourself in case you are in London until December 8th.
