Halston -Inventing American Fashion. It was a pleasure to celebrate the career of the american icon with author Lesley Frowick’s new book Halston: Inventing American Fashion (with foreword by Liza Minnelli) as well as a one -night-only installation of his creations and a salute to the golden age of Studio 54 complete with period- perfect spinning and dance lessons!

After Rising in the fashion world from his begging as a milliner for Bergdorf Goodman, Roy Halston Frowick (1931-1990) launched his eponymous womenswear label in 1968, buoyed by his connections with socialites and celebrities. As the creator of Jackie Kennedy’s signature pillbox hat and Liza Minelli’s fashion guru throughout the 1970s and ’80s he was known for his modern clothes that boasted an A-list Clientele>
